Love the mock schedule Zen! But the The Districts-tame Impala-DriveBy Truckers conflict kinda sucks. Districts for the win! As long as the new album coming out soon doesn't suck I will be at The Districts.

If...big if...Tame Impala is added...agree. Otherwise, I am good with Drive By Truckers. I hope they do a good job of anticipating crowds versus venues. I missed Moon Taxi last year at the Red Bull because it was overwhelmed and they locked everybody out. When Moon Taxi played at Palladia years ago, crowd space was not a problem. You can really overflow that stage/area. Since I am staying on the west side of the festival, I try to avoid the trek to the Chevy and it has worked out pretty well so far. As many have said, they need to do something with the "parking lot and seafood" stage. a huge parachute or something over it and sand on the floor would do wonders. All bitching aside...can't wait to get the party started.

I would have paid more for Tame Impala, Neutral Milk Motel, Old Crow Medicine show and a couple hundred other acts mentioned on here than Sam Smith....but, hey...that is the way the ol dollar bounces. Maybe Sam will clear out a lot of crowd at other venues.

Reach the Beach is a contest they ran the last year where they have a local "Battle of the Bands" and the winner gets to play Hangout. Last year, Underhill Family Orchestra won.
