The lineup will be announced in EARLY January, according to the festivals facespace page. So, within two weeks, we should know who is playing. EDIT: Here is the initial lineup.  |

If this is true and Coachella releases its lineup when it did last year, Hangout will be the first large scale festival of the season to announce. That's a first.
Lineup announce date in previous years:
2010: Feb 6
2011: Feb 1
2012: Feb 7
2013: Feb 13
They really had their stuff together in 2011. What a great year.

The new festival director has taken over a ton of responsibility. He's working with the booking agent as well, so yes, he is helping to book the music. He has been involved with Hangout since the beginning and has worked with a lot of festivals on different levels, but this is his biggest gig yet. If they're ready to announce the lineup and with the news of the new stage, we may be in more quite a treat. Where is crackersoul this year? |

 sooo...some names for the rumor mill i haven't seen elsewhere: Beck has a new album coming out soonish..as does Jeff Beck Foos are supposedly recording a new album, Blink-182 has an album coming out late spring Lady Gaga has been hinting about an upcoming album... we'll find out soon enough!
