This is a thread for folks to post pics or videos from previous Hangouts. If you missed that first year, there were only about 15,000 people there and it seemed like we had the festival to ourselves. Glad that Hangout has grown, because if it hadn't, it would not longer be happening. Here's a cool video that I found from OK GO in 2010. Our crew is actually in it too which always makes it fun. Here's a shot I took from a condo, kinda overlooking the festival, 2011. Look how crowded that dance tent was. I know that Amos Lee was on the main stage at that time, can't remember who was in the tent.  |

This is what Hangout fest felt like the whole first year.... Hardly a crowd anywhere, until the last day when they reopened the gates after a tornado warning and allowed anyone to come in (great move, in my opinion... allowed the local skeptics who didn't buy tickets to see what it was all about). Yes, it certainly could have been. Expanding that tent area was the best thing they've done.
