They won't be adding any more headliners as this is a three day festival. So no chance for Radiohead really. There are rumors that Tiesto may be playing the pre-party on Thursday night, but I really really doubt that. Anyone else got anything?

tastybarrel, though you may own a scrumptious moniker, how can you guarantee such a claim? They have played both of the first two years. I'll give you that. The first year, in fact, they played the first late night set ever inside the Hangout restaurant and it was absolutely wonderful. There were prolly 100 people in there. It was a meeting of the minds for the organizers and they knew they were on to something as the sax blew over the well-crafted electro-beats. So are you sure or not?

my hopes: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros---as they open for DMB The Head and the Heart Explosions in the Sky Foster the People The Shins and some bad ass female vocalists ...and I definetly agree, they have the major headliners and they have the unheard about bands....where are the medium bands?? We need more of those to be happy about the 500 dollars we just spent on tickets. COME ON HANGOUT....DELIVER!

The Rocket Summer has a date for The Hangout Festival. It's the project of Bryce Avary, from Texas, and sound a bit like Silverson Pickups.
Also, Little Dragon and Sleigh Bells are opening for the Chilli Peppers at different times, one is before Hangout, the other is after, so one of them may be a possibility for addition. What else?

NEW ARTIST CONFIRMED : Khris Royal will be playing on Friday, May 18th at The Hangout
Rusko could certainly be added for Sunday. Traveling from Miami to New Orleans with that day off.
St. Vincent has Sunday off but will be in Atlanta day before, Nashville day after.
Still holding hope for Edward Sharpe and The Head and the Heart, along with maybe Sleigh Bells and Little Dragon.

Someone on the Hangout FB page claimed that Pepper had Hangout listed as a tour date last week, but the listing has since been removed.
Accidental leak cover-up, or contract negotations failed? Did anyone else see the date listed or have any insight on this?

Think we will get the additions announcement this week? Last year they added a bunch on March 15, right? I'm still holding out hope for The Head and the Heart, Edward Sharpe, and Sleigh Bells would be a fun add. I'd also love to see The Civil Wars added... I'm not sure how well they would translate to a beach fest setting, but I selfishly just really want to see them again!

Civil Wars would be good on a smaller stage probably. Like maybe the Restaurant at night, right before the headliner?
Mumford is in the states for some weird reason, only for a couple weeks. With Hangout dates open. I doubt they would get added, but I would be psyched.
Bon Iver also is open. Wide open.
