Anyone know or have any info about the best way to get from either the Pensacola or Mobile airports to Gulf Shores? We are getting the Hangout shuttle passes so we'd like to avoid renting a car for the weekend since it won't be used much. Are there any shuttles from the airports to the beach? Or would a taxi/towncar be a logical option?

Yeah I looked up some car services for friends and it looks like they range from $60-100 one way from Pensacola airport to Gulf Shores. It's a small airport, so odds are you're going to bump into a few other hangout folks on the ground who you might be able to carpool with.
Also, you might be able to convince a couple festies comin from Florida to scoop you up for a couple bucks. The detour to the airport isn't far for anyone travelling I-10 West, coming from the Florida east coast.

What time are you coming into Pensacola? We are flying in around 2:00 on Friday afternoon and could possibly give you a ride to Gulf shores if the timing is right. We will have a rental car.

I have 2-3 seats in a limo THURSDAY 11AM or noon from Pensacola to Gulf Shores. We have a 2 year old, don;t worry about him though, he is good for fetching beers and pointing out "mama".  No really, he will just sleep while we have cocktails. Limo seats 8-10... so 6 is the real limit of our comfort and yours. I would be interested in sharing the limo with you...I have a 3 year old that I took last year (not this year though) so I know the deal. I arrive at 12:01 P.M. from Atlanta on Delta
