not at all, i've been looking for the last 5 days with services that have a 15 day forecast. a few days ago it was saying 89 with chance of rain on sunday, 82 and sunny all weekend would obviously be too good to be true. fingers crossed.

Weather Underground is forecasting near perfect weather. Sunny and near 80 days and clear and cool evenings around 65. Light sea breeze. UV index dictates copious amounts of sunscreen, hat, chilling in the shade some of the time. Can't wait.

I remember it being so hot last year. Was it just my imagination or was it truly brutal?

I remember waiting bassnectar and dying from the heat and dehydration and a random guy giving me some water from his camelback.

Definitely have seen some folks require medical attention who were in the sun, on sand or standing on concrete, during the 1-5 PM shows. I actually caught someone who passed out from over heating while waiting for the security check at the gate.
From WebMD - Heat stroke results from prolonged exposure to high temperatures -- usually in combination with dehydration -- which leads to failure of the body's temperature control system. The medical definition of heat stroke is a core body temperature greater than 105 degrees Fahrenheit, with complications involving the central nervous system that occur after exposure to high temperatures. Other common symptoms include nausea, seizures, confusion, disorientation, and sometimes loss of consciousness or coma.
If you suspect that someone has a heat stroke, immediately call 911 and send someone for help. Any delay seeking medical help can be fatal.
Hangout Fest has excellent emergency responders. Do what you can to shade and cool the person until help arrives.
Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

Kendrick sucked. He was the main person my girl wanted to see and not only was he late, he started one song over four times in a row because the crowd did not have enough energy for him. We exerted it all waiting for thirty minutes prior watching a horrible amateur rap battle. We left to stand in line on the foruth attempt to get the crowd going.

Unfortunately, I've seen Kendrick three times at when I see him in Louisville and at Breakaway this was the scene there as well. But when he opened for Kanye West in Nasvhille his show was A LOT better, played a lot more older songs too. Hoping he'll drop this new album soon.

I'm sure everyone has checked the weather, but here is an update. Rain and storms Wednesday and into the night. Supposed to clear Thursday morning. By the time the pre-party cranks up, should be clear. Sand may be wet. Expect a cool breeze. 73 degrees at 4 PM and 66 at 10. 15 MPH wind.

15 Day extended forecast....
www.myforecast.com/bin/expanded_forecast_15day.m?city=10328&zip_code=36561&metric=false
If the humidity is lower than 60%, wind between 5-15 MPH, and temps in that range....this will be the best weather I can remember for a Hangout Fest! Sun will still burn you mid-afternoon...but, we know how to deal with that.
I have heard there are rip current concerns so use caution if you go into the Gulf. NEVER swim against a rip-current. Swim parallel to the beach or out and back. For new folks...get a reading on jellyfish as well. I ask around before jumping in. A jellyfish burn can make for a bad weekend.
No rip currents or jellyfish in the condo pool :-)
