I can relate to UM. Not sure his reason, but I do not like the foul mouthed, put people down, nasty lyrics that a lot of bands put out there. Still do not understand why Hangout wants to put these "pick a fight and put people down" acts on their stages. Especially as headliners.

I know people are afraid of rap, but their lyrics are great not nasty out you down lyrics. Educate yourself on them. The generalization of rap I have seen on these boards is depressing.

That's like saying I wouldn't watch Pink Floyd live because they say "bullshit" in Money. Simple-minded statement.

Outkast is not negative or fight picking music. That's why we're all so excited. They're some of the most thought provoking music in history, not just hip hop. Give this song a shot.

Red mountain sucks. What the are doing is just plain wrong. I agree. Not sure why the switch from Huka but if it's not broken, why change it. I can only think of backlash from the town on that counterfeit money and drug ring that was busted up last year. Only logical reason I have thought of to push them out and change the music culture. Hence less jam bands and less EDM. I believe there was an increase in medical from dehydration last year.

I am just not a fan of hip hop/rap.

So.... quick question (bare with me as this will be my first music festival). I'm a huge Black Keys fan and am hoping to get fairly close to the stage if not front row (I know it won't be easy), but if I am going to try, when should I start waiting around the stage to get there? I really want to see Queens of The Stone Age as well but they are playing exactly before the keys which means I'm going to have to miss some of their show unfortunately. I'm planning on seeing Gary Clark Jr. so should I just stay at the hangout stage after he plays to get a good spot? I don't want to miss any of QOTSA if at all possible but I think I'm going to have to make sacrifices if I want the perfect spot. Thanks guys.
