Crazy article man. Glad I never ran into any og that. Think they are beefing up the security lines because of it? They already has the most strict security I have seen at festivals.

I didn't have any problems with Security. Just pay attention to the Hangout Sites FAQs about what you can and can't carry in.

UM - I am not a hip hop fan either, but have friends that are into that and support them enjoying whatever.

Trevman - After 4 HOFs, I am getting pretty good at front rows. Earlier the better (obvious). For the Hangout and Chevy Stage recommend starting down the left side and go all the way to the front then kinda work your way over. Works for me. Maybe cutting my throat with the advice, but, of all the concert venues I have been too, Hangout was the easiest to get up front. I was front, center for Tom Petty, KOL, Black Crowes and Government Mule last year. Fan-tastic!

I have also backed out and enjoyed the show from about even with the mixing board and actually found the sound quality better and lot less hassle with folks who were scrunched in and stepping on each other. I make it a habit to go with the flow and if the front row is packed...I ease on back.
