East has 3BR's on the corners...not sure about West. both have 2BRs. Which realtor are you going through to find that info, Cracker? Those corner spots are supremo. i've been in 'em...Brett Robinson handles IW. most rooms are re-reserved for the following year during the week of HF, so availability is likely nil at this point. there are far more modern and amenitized condos close by, but IWE's proximity rules. the comparable closest-to-fest hotel on the east side is Phoenix All Suites...i stayed there the 1st HF, but it was reserved for HF media and band personell the following year so i flipped to the west side. not sure if it is still fully reserved for HF or not at this point, but it's pool has been part of the VIP area on that side the past few years.

I booked a hotel in Fairhope, al. It's about 34 miles from the festival site. Was gonna drive to the pelican place shuttle everyday and take that to the festival. Do you think it would be worth to drive and find parking everyday? Has anyone else stayed in Fairhope for the festival?

Hey I'm new here and never done HOF before. Been to Roo though
I'm going to be driving from Florida by myself. There are a bunch of my favorite bands playing so this rocks
I need lodging. Craigslist doesn't have much, and I can't pay a condo by myself. I'm thinking of going to the Southport campgrounds, since they will have space first come first serve, it's cheap, and only two miles away.
Has anybody stayed there for HOF? Or does anybody need an extra person to split lodging with? (: thanks

Hey BlackKeyz, I do not know anyone who has stayed there, but I know plenty of Hangout goers have in the past. Good luck! www.southportcampground.com/

anyone had experience w/ the sugar beach condo's? friend and i are just locked in a renovated 1 br unit with a pretty solid view for a decent price. right next door to the hilton garden which is a shuttle stop on the east line. pools and beach access look legit, i saw some pretty solid rentals available on vrbo where you could fit 4/6 people easy and it would be cheap.

Make sure you've purchased your shuttle passes. Article released 5 days ago said the blue line is almost sold out.

Hey,
I'm solo volunteering, I've never been to hangout before though I went to roo last year. I'm looking for a place to stay, is anyone looking for an extra person to help with hotel costs??

quick question on the entrances. staying at a condo out on the east line and we are taking the blue shuttle.
does each shuttle only stop at one end of the festival? meaning, since the east line is closest to the east beach blvd entrance, will all of their shuttles drop there only? or will they drop at hwy59 and west beach blvd entrances as well?
doesn't matter as much getting there, but heading home each night curious to know if we can catch an eastbound shuttle at every exit.
hopefully VIP grove is open after the headliners finish their set as mentioned in another thread so we can relax and avoid the rush to get out and it's a non-issue. but with the east line already selling out, i'd imagine there is potential for some delays there.
i'm assuming so, but to confirm are there separate VIP entrances at every entrance?
thanks.

The shuttles will take you to their route's respective gate (east to east, west to west, etc.). So, if you're coming in on the east shuttle, you should go in and out of the east gate.
There are VIP entrances at each gate. You still go through the same security, but it is quicker than GA. At the end of the night, everyone leaves together.
This is my third year going VIP and I've never thought to go back to the Grove after the headliner. My condo is at Island Winds West, so I have no shuttle to wait on and can just walk the block to my condo. However, it would be nice if it was still open if you're waiting on the shuttle lines to die down. Hopefully, another VIP can chime in.
