How close do you all think they really are to selling out? I hope they don't sell out before they add more bands because that might make them leave a few out, right? Why add more bands if you've sold all your tickets? I've heard that the folks behind Hangout aren't really like that, but this lineup is so strange to begin with, I'm kinda lost. I bought tickets out of loyalty but am not thrilled with the lack of indie.

I bet they won't sell out before they announce a least a couple more artists. With other festival line ups coming out that are honestly showing out the Hangout line up (by quantity of good artists) I bet the sales on tickets have slowed down a lot. If they announced even 3-5 more strong bands they really could boost the ticket sales back up and then sell out... and those few more strong bands would cause a lot more hype and enthusiasm for the 3rd year of the festival (of course i'm just guessing here based on personal preference of artists)

Even if they did sell out now, I think they have to add more artists... I'm not sure there are enough bands listed to fill 3 days yet unless everyone is getting really long sets. Plus I'm sure there are some artists already on contract that they haven't listed yet (waiting till March to keep people talking about the fest, contractual agreements, etc).
If they really are close to selling out, I think it will happen after they make some more adds.

Well, apparently they were closer to selling out then I thought! GA tickets are officially gone. Hangout did say on their facebook page that additional bands would still be added, but theres no timeframe for when that would be.

Hey hey! I just (in a crazy random move!) picked up a couple more Hangout 3 Day Passes (after they sold out) from the condo we have reservations at. The condos all have their own exclussive deals to supply the renters with tickets, so I was able to get a couple more. Unfortunately, they were at a premium...they were $295 each, which is about $65 more than what they were selling for directly from Hangout. I also have a couple spots open in the condo we have rented, which is about a mile away from the festival...easily walking/stumbling distance (and means you don't have to pay the extra $40 each for the "shuttle passes"). It is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom that technicaly sleeps 6 (with the sleeper sofa), but we are squeezing another 4 in on the floor w/air mattress, to try to keep costs REASONABLE. There are 3 price ranges for the condo: BED: $195 (X4) TAKEN SLEEPER SOFA: $175 (X2) STILL AVAILABLE FLOOR: $155 (X4) TAKEN So, per person, for the 3 Day Pass AND the sleeper sofa spots in the condo, would be $470 I'm not a scammer, I'm (practically) a professional festival/party kinda cat, who is all about meeting new people and pulling the love together. If you needed testament as to my character, if you are interested in joining us, we will add each other on facebook, and I will invite you to join RIKI JEE'S KALOOPAHGROOP, which has about 160 members and was created specifically for my festival friends to keep in touch and stay on the same page with regards to festivals we'll all be together at again. You can chime in and ask people in there about my character (I'm actually quite curious as to what they'll say!). So, that's it! Lemme know! Riki Jee www.facebook.com/charmingfrog603-624-0136
