Has anyone heard anything on Headliners?
Muse has been brought up along with Phish/A Trey Anastasio project. Got a feeling it may be Neil Young & Crazyhorse or Tom Petty.
Mumford & Sons are also a big rumor from folks in Southern Alabama.

I've been hearing Muse and Mumford but haven't heard any basis for those rumors. Phish is a rumor every year for what seems like every festival but I've heard that Phish has turned Hangout down multiple times. Trey headlined the first one so I doubt TAB will play again this early on. My money is on Crosby, Stills and Nash headlining on Saturday. They play somewhere in Florida on Friday night and then in Charlotte on Sunday with no announced date yet for the 18th.

I think Widespread will play-they have a break on their spring tour that week. I have heard everything from Tom Petty to Muse. Ready for the line up to come out!!!

Definitely file under "rumor," seen on another board. Apparently he is accepting a Golden Globe award live on 5/19, so that date is definitely out for HF.

Widespread is a bit far-fetched considering they are headlining Wanee and Waka..not to mention that they JUST headlined Hangout 2 years ago, doubtful.
I am on the inforoo boards that have been chatting for a while and the bigger rumors:
Bob Dylan (as heard from a ticket sales insider) Avett Bros (ATL/NC have Sunday open) Mumford (some people are saying its confirmed, others saying its not happening anymore...) Soundgarden (play NJ on the 18th I believe, seeing as how Dave came from Dallas the night before his show last year, can't rule it out because of distance, esp. since Chris Cornell had a great time last year)

Muse is highly doubtful. They start a Euro tour on the 22nd. Since they don't take down the headliners lighting, ect until the last day of the fest it seems HIGHLY unlikely that they would leave an entire setup of a European tour to 2 days prep, also since they are from England and their first dates are in England, best bet they are taking a few weeks off to be with their families.

Paul McCartney's name has started to come up. A few people on the Bonnaroo board are saying it's possible. This would be a huge get for Hangout, no matter how many fests McCartney plays this year ( if he plays any). I felt like Paul Simon was really big for Hangout as well a few years ago. Kind of a banner achievement even, but this, well it doesn't really get any bigger does it?

I think Avett Brothers, and Old Crow are very likely. Paramore is also somewhat likely. I'm hoping like hell they bring Keller Williams back. Paul McCartney's name keeps getting thrown around, and makes a lot of sense if they can get him. I wouldn't be surprised to see Umph or STS9 again. Just throwing this out there, no real premise except they have a new album, Tenacious D. I know not all of these are headliners...

The Headliners so far are Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Kings of Leon and one yet to be named. Surely they are waiting for a band to release their tour dates and they will announce the final headliner soon.
Rumors for third headliner are Mumford & Sons, Stevie Wonder & Phoenix. Nothing concrete at all though.

Stevie Wonder! or Neil Young! or Avett Bros! or Phoenix! I'm just hoping it's not another artist that is also playing at Bonnaroo. **fingers crossed**
