My Morning Jacket (pic posted by Hangout, last year Flaming Lips was teased in similar way and they played) Neutral Milk Hotel (somewhat likely with tour dates) Tame Impala (somewhat likely with tour dates) J Roddy Walston & the Business (Tour dates make them likely)
In order for a band to go here, you've gotta make sure they have dates available for Hangout and they're routed reasonably well. If you have unknown knowledge, let it be heard here.
Happy Hunting.

This may be a given, but I would say that The Flaming Lips are very likely. They are playing Austin Psych Fest on May 10, then a gap in schedule before heading to Europe on the 23rd. They have also played Hangout every year (except 2013).

I could definitely see a Flaming Lips do Sgt. Pepper set.

this sounds like its turning into guessing thread. while i do love all the flaming lips shows i've gotten to see at hangout i feel they would be taking up space of some new act we could have. i did post a link to a tweet on the wishlist thread for a artist by the name of Halsey who (based on her tweet) i think we can say will be there.

You are correct. Hasley belongs on this thread. Flaming Lips do not. We gotsta have some sort of evidence to make it in here.

Sorry about that fellas. Look, I was under the impression this was a thread for somewhat likely acts. I did not realize it was a thread for acts that have substantial evidence behind them. So we got the MMJ post from HOF, but what hard evidence is there that NMH will be there or Tame Impala? I don't have time to read through 75 pages of tolling and bashing people on the wishlist thread, so maybe I missed it, but I feel like the evidence provided for the Lips is equally as legitimate. I hope I'm wrong and there is some evidence behind those bands because I'd love to see them there. I guess I'll just wait for the lineup.

IMO everyone is guessing. Heck I went 50-50 on the NCAA Bowls this year...LOL. Everyone who has said they had sure fire performers pegged in the past have usually been surprised when the final lineup came out. Come on over to the wishlist thread and have some fun. Hangout = chill, lay back, have a good time, enjoy the sun, don't worry-be happy. I am learning a lot of new bands and music from all the thread chatter.

Palladia now has a RHCP show airing at 8 pm on the 13th after the Hangout artist shows. This also correlates with some rumors on the Inforoo board.

Catfish and the Bottlemen's new release sounds like something Hangout would pick up as an undercard. Several UK Alternative performances last year seemed to go over pretty well. Edgy. Give it a listen.

Government Mule is touring and has a big break in schedule from April to June. Warren Haynes seems to like Hangout and he draws a crowd at Hangout. Widespread Panic playing in Ohio the weekend after Hangout and that is it for May. Given all the festivals they are playing...Hangout would fit. Steve Miller Band, Moe and Umphreys are playing with WSP. They are all logical Hangout performers. North Mississippi Allstars played in 2010 with only two of their group. They have really come a long way with World Boogie. Last tour date on their website is 4/23/15 in North Carolina. TAB has a new album coming out late 2015...but, has a date as Phish in January and might look at Hangout as a great place to preview new album plus jam some old tunes. Looks like their schedule is clear. Moon Taxi was on the lineup in 2010 and almost every year. They appear available. They are playing with J Roddy in March and Lana Del Rey in June. Shaky Boots has OCMS and Jason Isbell the same weekend as Hangout so they are likely out. Grace Potter is playing in VA middle June and is open for Hangout Gary Clark Jr has a big gap after Australia in April and July in RFK-DC. Rodriego and Gabriela have new album, their tour mirrors Gary Clark and they were both big hits at Hangout. Chris Cornell is also in Australia touring at the same time and more importantly, got nothing on the tour schedule after March. There are soooo many excellent performers available... And then there are Taylor Swift, No Doubt, Drake, and others who are touring and free that weekend too it will be interesting to see the final product next week.

Lol Beachbob pretty much tells you your thread is stupid then proceeds to blow it up with exactly what you ask not to happen. Beachbob he may also enjoy the Wishlist thread but he made his own thread to discuss what he wants to discuss. Which is not guessing who might be there.

ding ding...a) not my wishlist and actually put some time in researching those "In order for a band to go here, you've gotta make sure they have dates available for Hangout and they're routed reasonably well" b) no intent to "blow up anyone's threads" or "put people down". Everyone is guessing to some extent. Everyone has a butt and an opinion...free country. I am sure Gulf Shores finest appreciates the direction to the house with "pupils". Have fun at the Hangout my friend!

So some cat on inforoo is claiming that he can say with 100% certainty that Foo Fighters and Beck will be at Hangout. Apparently he's got a friend in radio that gave him some insider info. It was confirmed by reliable sources on that thread.
