So since we are getting to be only a week away from HOF. I was curious to see what are you guys are doing to prep/help pass the time? I know all I can think about is the upcoming awesomeness that is Hangout Fest. tonight i'm reminiscing 2012 Randy Newman and doing some alcohol endurance training.  |

Watching the pro draft, put new strings on the guitar, mowing grass, checking my condo and beach list, shifting sleep cycle later, increasing alcohol endurance (sounded like a smart thing to do on previous poster's reply), can't wait to get my "toes in the water and ass in the sand".
Made a playlist of a couple songs of just about everyone performing. A couple groups I never heard of have won me over. Want to hear RDGLDGRN play "Lootin in London", Capital Cities "Safe and Sound", Ton Tons "Paradise", Modest Mouse "Float on"...great song for the beach, The Killers' "Runaways and Atomic Bomb", Bombay Bicycle Club "Lights out, Words Gone", Sarah and Christian Dugas "Roll em Easy", Los Colognes "Long Time Coming", and Black Berry Smoke "Pretty Little Lie".
Watching my DVR of previous Hangouts....getting pumped for a great 2014 event-show. |

Shopping, alcohol endurance, cleaning house so I don't come back to a disaster, making mix cds for the ride down (of HO artists only), taking care of things at work so my brain won't worry about it while I'm on the beach, etc.

Would be surprised if MM play float on. Hope they do, but don't hold your breath. Make sure you have a spare shirt handy to wave around for safe and sound. Been digging this wild cub album.
Got my carabiners, camelback, customized tank top, water shoes with dr. Scholl's inserts, Nalgene bottle, buff headbands, an extra bottle of suntan lotion to hide my j's, go pro and canon cameras, and list of recommended places to hit in New Orleans (partying there on Thursday night). Think I'm pretty much set.

Then get a bottle of suntan lotion that has a big opening, like the bright orange ones. Make sure there's not much lotion in there. Put the bag just inside and close the lid. If you're worried about it slipping too far into the lotion bottle get 2 zip locks and put a paperclip thru the outside bag, straighten the clip and loop it over the edge under the cap. That way when you open it you can pull it right out. Go into VIP bathroom and wash off the outside of the bag. You can throw molly and a bit of yip in there too they never open up suntan bottles. |
