This is where we dig deep into the undercard and show off our listening brilliance and brag about how we know this awesome band that no one knows of yet, and stuff. Actually most of these were new to me when the lineup dropped, but I'll start with one of my top five must see acts. I was really glad to see this on the bill.
Shakey Graves. Could be this year's Shovels & Rope. I like him much better, and I like S&R a lot.

Very cool band out of Nashville! I discovered these guys last year when they opened for The Dismemberment Plan in Atlanta. I really like them! Any chance TDP could be added to the lineup?

Definitely excited for Outkast reunion. Excited about The Black Keys, however, I haven't heard good things about them live. So we'll see how that goes. This will be my 3rd time seeing Pretty Lights, always puts on a great show. Second time seeing Chance The Rapper, very good live. Super excited about Childish Gambino, if you haven't heard his new album "Because The Internet", I give it 5 stars. Wiz Khalifa will be interesting, although I like his older work better. Just starting listening to Portugal. The Man and they are AWESOME. They're also coming to Louisville and if tickets aren't too expensive I may go. I've heard good things about Girl Talk live. STS9 is another one I've heard good things about. Moon Taxi is great is anyone hasn't heard them yet. My boyfriend saw them at Forecastle last year and said they were incredible. I wanna see Tegan and Sara but my boyfriend doesn't want too Fitz and The Tantrums are good, super excited about them. I've seen Little Green Cars at Waterfront Wednesday in Louisville this past summer, very good show. Herobust is one of the best up and coming EDM artists, who I've seen twice. Also excited about Needtobreathe, Bloody Beetroots, Blackberry Smoke, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Bastille, Soja, Allen Stone, and Robert Delong. Overall, very impressive lineup.

I've seen the Black Keys at Hangout 2011 and they were great! I saw them again last year in Atlanta and they were kinda meh. So, who knows what we'll get?
Here's Girl Talk's Hangout 2011 set. The tent was so cramped, I got claustrophobic and had to leave. I'm glad they gave the tent more room in subsequent years.

The main thing I've heard is that way the songs are played live isn't how they sound on records, so you can't really sing along. But a good show's a good show whether I can sing along or not. Still excited to see them regardless. (:

If you listen to older Black Keys, it is incredibly bluesy. I hope their live show is similar. Childish Gambino's albums are amazing and I hope he brings it live. Fitz and the Tantrums as well as Capital Cities are fucking great live and something you can dance to. Modest Mouse is good live, but do not expect to hear them play their radio stuff. They usually go with deep tracks.
