Where is all the electronic music this year? I see a few. It none like years past. Zedd, pretty lights and bloody beetroots are musts but nothing seems to wow me like oakenfold or Wolfgang gartner or afrojack, etc.

I'm just checking a few tour dates for some people and ran across Bombay Bicycle Club and Royal Canoe's tour dates. They are off the Friday of the fest, but then have to haul ass to Dallas the next day. Unless they play early in the day, I don't think they could be there. However, they are also off on Thursday. I could see them playing the pre-party (Maybe Bombay is even big enough to close out the Letting Go stage that day).

Here are my predicted/wanted adds for the fest: Beck Wu-Tang Clan Jane's Addiction Damon Albarn Violent Femmes Diplo The Airborne Toxic Event Flying Lotus Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Sons of the Sea Dawes Hurray for the Riff Raff I agree Diplo/Major Lazer would be a big EDM name to announce later. Wouldn't get much buzz initially, but in the second round would get some ppl excited. Also, is TEED more of a hope or have you heard anything specific?? He would be incredible. |

I have not heard anything about him being there, I just know he would be an act that Hangout would book for a midday Boom Boom Tent slot.

Most based off that they have a new album coming out and they will most likely be hitting the touring hard for it, especially after all the positive press from their anniversary shows last year.

I think the fest will have anywhere between 81-85 acts. 81 would be an evenly divisible number of acts, without any acts opposing the headliners. 83 would be if they added opposition one stage (Friday and Saturday) and 85 for them having opposition on 2 stages for Friday and Saturday, as I believe the Sunday headliner would run unopposed.
The 12 get us just one short of the original 77 that were going to be announced. I'm sure as we learn more, I'll be able to add and take away some of those acts on the list and have something more definitive.
