Skrillex and friends (DJ Snake and Dillon Francis, 2/3 are alumni) just announced a tour with open dates for Hangout. Open space from Coachella to 5/23 in OK City with start of the tour. What better way to start a tour with a weekend at the beach. This would be a huge addition and the cherry on top for myself. Come on Red Mountain, sign em up! www.fuse.tv/2014/03/skrillex-mothership-tour?campaign=scl|twt|fsc

Tyler, The Creator has announced more North American tour dates with a gap for Hangout's weekend. Just a consideration.

Got really bored tonight so I decided to do some research for Hangout's lineup additions: Earl Sweatshirt has a gap in his tour from May 2nd to May 27th. Haim is in Chicago on the 17th, but has the 16th and 18th free. Sleigh Bells has a whole break in their North American tour in May. Foster The People are in Kansas City on the 17th and have the 18th off. Janelle Monae has a break in her North American tour from the 9th until the 31st. Alabama Shakes will be in Virginia on the 9th, has no scheduled tour dates after that. MS MR will be in New Orleans on the 3rd, no scheduled dates until June 10th after that. Lana Del Rey is in Chicago on the 16th, no scheduled dates for the 17th or 18th. Bassnectar is always a possibility, anytime.

Is there for sure going to be additions? i really hope so. They announced there would be a total of 77 acts for the fest earlier in jan or feb. so im holding out for 2 more adds. probably 3rd or 4th line... Then that leaves the rest of the pre party acts b/c as of now there isn't enough to fill the evening. Even though thursday will start later this year, they still need another 3 acts to fill it out.

Hangout did announce that there would be two contest for bands to play at the festival. One for locals, and one on a bigger scale. These two bands could be considered the final two to make 77 total. I'm still holding out hope that there will be a couple more additions on top of these.
